ABOUT
Photography offers the beautiful ability to tell a story in ways that words alone never could. I am fascinated by the connection between the storage of our memories and still photography. In a way, photographs help us to remember events, feelings, emotions, connection and relationship with more detail and accuracy. Photographs help us to preserve our memories and our stories.
My greatest passion lies in telling the story of human relationship to the living world. I work to document people's connection to the environs in which we live. Photography can play an important role informing, educating, inspiring and affecting positive change in human behavior to ensure the long-term stability, integrity, and diversity of all biological systems on this great Earth.
I start each project and client relationship with respect and gratitude.
I have photographed coastal and forest ecosystems, city wide pillow fights, a human Iditarod, touring bands, renewable energy systems, fund raisers for non-profit organizations, sustainable farming practices, hula-hoop makers, salon owners, peace rallies and most everything in between.
I have worked to document the reality of a changing world in North Africa and southern Spain, the relationship between people and place, the coming of age of an American Rock Band, the diversity of thought and culture across the USA, and have worked to tell the photographic story of many different organizations.
